Glass Filled Polymer

Glass Filled Polymer

A glass-filled polymer, often known as glass-filled plastic, is a flexible composite material that may be molded. It is made up of short glass fibers embedded in a polymer matrix. It is utilized in the injection or compression molding of a wide range of structural components. It's a great glass substitute since it's versatile in terms of design, chemical resistance, and shatter resistance. Nylon, a polyamide polymer, is one of the most extensively used glass-filled thermoplastic polymers. Bakelite was the first moldable composite. ABS Granules

ABS Granules

ABS granules, or Acrylonitrile Butadienestyrene, is an engineering polymer that has high fluidity and can take on any shape. It also has a nice gloss and color. ABS is distinguished by its durability, thermal stability, and ability to adapt to any stiff matrix. ABS is made by polymerizing acrylonitrile, styrene, and polybutadiene with the addition of polybutadiene. ABS is available in two grades, one for extrusion and one for the injection molding process.
