Bin vent filters are essential devices which help contain dust particulates when releasing displaced air, restocking, and unloading materials into bins or storage systems. The applications are various, ranging from storage silos, bins, storage hoppers for gravity discharge, through feeding from mechanical conveyors, through feeding from pneumatic conveying systems, and any other device or process.

Using our cartridge or bag filter dust collector technology, our dust filtering systems are created to fit your application. They have the capacity to run continuously with an integrated feature for automatic filter element regeneration. There are various filter media types to choose from depending on the application, temperature, and moisture level of the substance. The filter cartridges have easily removable, replaceable types. We may provide bin vent filters with or without a fan based on the application.

Product Features

Differential pressure based or timer-based cleaning types considering the properties of dust to be filtered which allows automatic filter element regeneration, enabling them to operate continuously without having to shut down the system.
Outlet emissions can be guaranteed to as low as < 5 mg/Nm3.
Depending on the gas & dust composition and properties, filter fabric options are offered. Filter elements fabric material options include Polyester, Polypropylene, Aramid, Fiberglass, Ryton, Cellulose, Poly-phenylene sulfide, etc.
Additional accessories can be made available as per the need of any specific application.
Our product line is distinguished by anticipated filter life of many years and compact overall structure.
These filters are made to order and are capable of handling both regular and explosive dusts.
Easy to maintain with suitable electronic indicators provided for monitoring health of the unit.

Construction:

The clean gas segment and the dirt gas section are separated by a filter mounting plate in the entire mechanical assembly.
The clean gas section contains a set of blow tubes that are connected to a set of pulse valves and a compressed air manifold on the outside.
Available in MS, SS304, SS304L, SS316 & SS316L construction.
Easy removal of bag / cartridge from the top or side.
Available both in rectangular & cylindrical configurations.
Single & multi compartmental construction considering the capacity & on-line maintenance requirements.
Housing is designed as per process pressure requirement; for general purpose applications, design of 0.1 bar(g) is offered.
Suitable designs are available for explosive dusts. Compatibility in terms of installation of explosion vents is possible.

Types of filter elements in specialized dust collectors

Bag filter

Indpro’s specialty bag filters have capacities ranging from 600 to 60,000 Nm3/hr to suit low, medium, and high-volume applications.
Our bag filters are expertly made to consume less energy and require lesser maintenance as compared to cartridge filters.
Filter changes for bag filters must be done from clean gas side (top mounting) by accessing through the maintenance top door.
Perfect for medium or high dust volumes.
Filter bags are available in diameters of 120 mm and 160 mm.
Available with various media options such as Polyester, Polypropylene, Aramid, Fiberglass, Ryton, etc. with/without PTFE lamination.
Built in automatic pulsing system is standard. Required cleaning pressure 5-6 bar(g).
Outlet emissions of up to < 5 mg/Nm3 can be achieved.

Cartridge Filter

Indpro’s specialty cartridge filters have capacities ranging from 300 to 100,000 Nm3/hr to suit low, medium, and high-volume applications.
Our cartridge filters have a compact design to moderate airflow volumes within severe space restrictions.
Filter changes for cartridge filters are secure and simple and full changeouts may be completed without the use of special tools in under 30 minutes. They can be removed from raw gas side (bottom mounting) or from clean gas side (top mounting).
Ideal for low-to-moderate dust volumes.
Filter cartridges are available in diameters of 150/225/327 mm.
Available with various media options such as Polyester, Polypropylene, Aramid, Cellulose, Poly-phenylene sulfide, etc. with/without PTFE lamination.
Built in automatic pulsing system is standard. Required cleaning pressure 5-6 bar(g).
Outlet emissions of up to < 20 mg/Nm3 can be achieved.
