Pneumatic conveying of various materials requires different approaches. Every material is special in its own right and behaves differently in a pipeline. The only way to find out how a material behaves in a pipeline is to put it in one and convey it!
For this purpose we have our own dedicated factory equipped with multiple piped conveying rigs encircling our manufacturing facility. We can adapt our tests to closely match the expected conditions on your site. Having a clear understanding of your material’s behavior in our equipment ensures that your system works right the first time, every time. We have already successfully conducted test trials on 250 plus material at our Indpro Technical Centre.
Utilizing a loop layout, we offer standard tests at distances up to 85 m (275ft). Custom distances or specific vertical distances or additional bends can be tested depending on customer needs, if feasible. The testing facility has its own dedicated Prime mover and compressed air system and also houses a meeting room where regular training sessions are held for customers and representatives. We have developed both dilute phase and dense phase pneumatic conveying systems with sophisticated data logging devices which helps us evaluate conveying parameters of various bulk solids. In addition to real conveying tests, we also carry out material characterization testing to specifically determine What is? and What is not? In some cases, characterization tests aren’t necessary since, after years of experience in installing systems in different industries with numerous bulk solids, we have a consolidated data bank of various material characterizations and how different materials behave in our system.
