Portable Vacuum Powder Collection System

On many industrial production floors, atmosphere near the powder consuming or producing machine is filled with spillage of material caused due to poor handling of powders into or out of the machines. This causes low-density solid matter to escape, which hampers the production and causes the environmental problems which are detrimental to health. These hazardous powder particles need to be trapped in one centralised collection system and conveyed to a pre-determined location. In most such production floors there are centralized dust extraction systems which cater to this need. But in some cases, they are insufficient to cater to all the dust generated.

We design and manufacture the complete portable vacuum powder collecting system to tackle this challenge. The major parts of the portable vacuum powder collecting system can be either packaged in a modular skid which will house the vacuum source, air & powder separation devices and control panel, or, they can be separately installed depending on the space and ease of operation.

Portable vacuum powder collectors are one of the simplest to operate powder collectors manufactured by Indpro. It helps the customer to solve their powder spillages and dust emitting issues in a cheaper and effective way. The system consists of a series of cyclone separator and high-quality pulse jet filter for filtration which uses flexible pipes as connections to draw the material and collect the powder in bins. The well-designed air flow profile using the best of the principles of fluid dynamics ensures the ideal vacuum required to entrap powders in its path. The perfectly designed components make the system practically devoid of any vibration and sound, which makes the unit a delight to operate. The compact design of our machine occupies just 1.68 sq.m of footprint area which makes it very easy to stow it away anywhere in the production area.

Once the airborne particulates have settled in various areas, the suction lance captures the powder through the intake of the portable vacuum powder collector system. This air & powder mixture is then filtered through the cyclone & Specia filter and exits as clean air. A HEPA filter acts as a tertiary filtration point which ensures that only the most well treated air has been recirculated into the factory. The complete filtration system is essentially an automatic cleaning system where the self-cleaning system maintains the unit’s performance without human intervention.
